Performances

Studying Shakespeare without performance is like studying violin without the instrument.

Richmond Shakespeare's accessible and interactive performances are ideal for students and adults alike. Our productions are affordable companions to classroom study. Performance options include:

       Matinees at Richmond Shakespeare Theatre
During the Richmond Shakespeare Theatre season, daytime matinees for small audiences (50-100 students) can be arranged in our home space at Second Presbyterian Church, 5 N 5th Street, in downtown Richmond.

       Tour performances in your space
One or more performances of the current Richmond Shakespeare Theatre      production can be staged in your auditorium or theater.

       Staged Readings
If your class is studying a play other than the current Richmond Shakespeare Theatre production, arrange for the next best thing: a staged reading.
(Requires at least 2 months notice.)
